2008 DAM CONCERTS

Durango Acoustic Music is proud to host the first-ever Durango performance by Boulder Acoustic Society on Thursday, December 11th at the Henry Strater Theatre at 7pm.

These boys wowed audiences at both the Pagosa Folk 'n Bluegrass Festival and the Four Corners Folk Festival this summer! The show on December 11th marks their first-ever Durango appearance and we’re DAM glad to be the ones to bring ‘em to town. Whether it's a festival stage, performing arts center, dive bar, or at a late night campfire, Boulder Acoustic Society delivers a phenomenal diversity of sound as if it were the norm. Their music is intense and exciting with something new and interesting at every turn. A unique lineup of violin, accordion, bass and percussion support strong lyrics and powerful grooves. They played festivals all around the Rockies this summer and, after this Durango show, they continue across the Four Corners, and then onto southern states as well. See a listing of all their shows and find out more about these boys at the Boulder Acoustic Society website. Hear their music at their MySpace Page.

Boulder Acoustic Society keeps it simple - their name tells you where they're from and what kind of music they play. They're a hard-working band that's having a lot of success in a VERY competitive market – Boulder, CO. Don't miss seeing this extremely unique and singular band at the beautiful and historic Henry Strater Theatre. The show is Thursday, December 11th at 7pm. Tickets go on sale soon at Canyon Music, Southwest Sound and Canyon Music in Durango. You can also find them at the Sideshow Emporium and Gallery in Dolores. They’re $10 for DAM members and $15 for the general public. Call 970-764-7596 to find out more.
